DERMAL FILLERS

dermal-fillers.jpg

Dermal fillers treatment involves injecting a medically developed solution under the skin with a fine needle to enhance facial features and plump and fill lines, grooves or sunken areas. When administered correctly by the professionals at the Revolution Beauty Clinic, dermal fillers can subtly smooth, soften, contour and tone the skin; restore youthful plumpness and enhance and define your features. If you're interested in learning more about our cosmetic treatments, we welcome you to contact our salon in Ipswich today.

The product we use is made from biocompatible, biodegradable materials and contains hyaluronic acid, which replaces the naturally existing substance in your skin that repairs damaged tissue and absorbs water to create a plumping effect.

"Do dermal fillers hurt?"

Unlike procedures such as surgical facelifts or implants, dermal fillers require no cuts, incisions or stitches to be made, although the procedure may involve some light pain or discomfort. Depending on the area being treated, the treatment usually takes between 20 and 30 minutes, and clients describe it as a tiny scratch as the needle goes in, with a slight stinging sensation as the filler is applied. For those feeling anxious, we can use a local anesthetic to numb the area completely.

"Can I have a reaction to dermal filler?"

It is extremely rare to react to hyaluronic acid-based products with very few incidences occurring.

"Will I Look Dramatically Different?"

No. Our practitioners work like artists, using the natural contours of your face for guidance. Your normal facial expressions will remain unaffected. During your consultation, your practitioner will discuss the best plan for you to achieve subtle results.

"What happens after dermal fillers treatment?"

Afterward, there may be some swelling or bruising, with the swelling usually fading within 48 hours and the bruising fading within a fortnight. At Revolution Beauty Clinic in Ipswich dermal fillers are only ever administered by a fully qualified and insured practitioner, who will conduct a post-treatment review to ensure you are happy with the results. She will also check in with you post-treatment and answer any questions that you may have.

"How long do dermal fillers last?"

Each treatment is delivered by a fully trained practitioner to achieve optimum, natural-looking results. Results begin to show immediately after treatment and can last up to 12 months, depending on the product used and the area treated. Lip fillers tend to last for six months.

"What happens when dermal fillers wear off?"

Over time the semi-permanent dermal fillers will be naturally metabolized by the body, and treatment will need to be repeated in order to achieve the same desired results.

"I have had previous filler some years ago is it ok to have more in the same area?"

Having dermal filler in the same area can be at the discretion of your practitioner. Previous treatment details including product placement, type and amount need to be taken into consideration.
